10/09/12 15:30 Filed in: Intermediate
Hey Folks,
In this lesson I show you how I play the 3 main 5 string triad arpeggio shapes. Major, minor and diminished. Then we harmonize the C Major scale using those 3 shapes. I hope you enjoy the lesson.

Slippery Open String Lick

Hey Folks,
This lesson incorporates pulling off notes to an open string and some sliding.
I've loosely broken the lesson into 3 sections with each one explaining a part then the next one expanding on the idea until I've built the full lick. I use open string stuff a lot in my playing. (This particular lick is from one of my songs.) Hopefully this little lick will inspire you to start using the technique more. Build on the idea and come up with some cool stuff in your own style.
